I have recently gotten into William Rast Jeans. At first, I was a bit weary of them. I figured they were only popular because Justin Timberlake launched the brand. As it turns out, he has very little to do with it. They have brought in a fantastic team of designers including the old designer of True Religion Jeans, and have really perfected their fit and washes. Well the crappy weather seems to have left the greater Chicago area and it's about damn time! We had a long and shitty winter. Today was about 73 and sunny and even the forecasted rain never really materialized. I have a feeling we are in for a warm summer. This is the kind of weather where you girls will be glad to be wearing your splendid tees and your Hudson Jeans shorts.

So what do you think about the economy right now? From what I see I'm not sure we're out of the woods yet and my buddy Denninger, who tends to always be negative definitely doesn't seem to think we are either. He is clearly very intelligent and knows what he is talking about but I can't help but think he gravitates toward the negative side of things.

Someone asked me today what my favorite brand of jeans was. Since I am considered an authority on the subject in my parts, I took a minute to think about it. After a brief debate with myself, I answered Hudson Jeans. I consider Hudson Jeans to be my favorite for a number of reasons. First, I am a big fan of how the company conducts itself and how it portrays their brand. They are not too large for their own good or solely interested in profits like some of their brethren. Most of all, the fit is second to none. Hudson jeans fit me perfectly, my wife too. I own a lot of jeans but Hudsons definitely get more wear than my others. If you haven't tried them yourself, I highly recommend you do so.

Seven Jeans

Seven Jeans are known for pioneering the premium denim craze. My first pair of premium denim happened to be Seven jeans! I still have them as a matter of fact. It's quite amusing to pull them out occasionally because the fit is much different than what I wear now. They were a very full, relaxed fit which I no longer wear. I prefer a seven jeans bootcut fit or standard fit, as shown here.

There are a number of fits for women including the original bootcut, the flynt, a pocket, ginger, roxanne, high waist bootcut, and more. Pictured below is the seven jeans bootcut in vintage.

True Religion Jeans

True Religion jeans are definitely one of my favorite brands in the market today. I love the fantastically and perfectly developed washes and styling. The stitching is what makes the jean, as you can see in this Ricky Army Super T in Pops wash.

I love this wash by True Religion jeans called the light baja.

Splendid Tees

Hudson's 5 pocket straight leg

I gotta tell you, this jean is fantastic. The denim has a nice blue wash and it's a thinner fabric, which is perfect for spring. I picked these up just a couple of weeks ago and I'm loving them. I am a big fan of the Hudson signature pocket but these 5 pockets are great too. Hudson
Jeans continue to raise the bar in the denim world and I can't wait to see what they come up with next.

Hello Everyone,

My name is Sean and I have created this blog as an opportunity to talk about random things as well as discuss my favorite premium denim and clothing. First, I should tell you a bit about myself. I am 28 years old, married with one beautiful daughter, Sophia. She's 16 months old a truly amazing! I enjoy my business, which happens to be in the apparel industry, golf, and football. I have been a Bears fan my entire life and will be for the rest of it!

So I have been in the retail apparel industry now for over 2 years. I definitely have my favorites. To start, Hudson jeans has by far the best fit for mens denim. Seven jeans are also a great fit. I don't know if anyone else has noticed this but the fit for True Religion jeans has changed quite a bit lately? I used to be a 32 and now I am a 30. Their jeans run huge! Anyway, I will continue with more shortly.
